The meaning of the word ‘Solution’
…is to find an alternative method of overcoming a challenge by working around the problem, in order to live a life of dignity and independence. It could be a product, workflow, or a unique way of doing something that enables a person to perform the task they normally would have difficulty in accomplishing.Many of us use such simple yet innovative solutions in our day-to-day lives, sometimes without even realizing its importance. Persons with disabilities and their caregiver’s or family members are no exemption to this. However, such solutions mostly remain undocumented.
Project Discovery is a platform aimed at collating different solutions in the form of short videos and making them available to ALL.

Project Discovery initiated its journey with a simple question to me in a meeting by Dipesh Sutariya, “How many solutions do you use?” During the discussion, we realized that ‘any alternative method that makes a person’s life easier and overcomes a barrier is a solution’.Project Discovery then started collecting solutions from the community members at the grassroots level. A brief discussion gave this project life and in just three years, we have gone international! I am hopeful for the world of innovation this project will lead to.
Participating in Project Discovery has been an incredible journey, providing valuable insights into simple yet impactful solutions for the daily challenges faced by individuals with disabilities. Being a part of finding everyday solutions this time around has instilled a deep sense of pride.”
I believe this project is not only about person with disabilities to come up and showcase their own innovations, It is also about encouraging everyone to be innovative and to see that solutions for one person can be solutions for many
Necessity is the mother of all inventions and the fact that we Indians thrive on juggad/hacks to make day-to-day activities little easier could be transformed into a project ceases to amaze me to no end. It’s wonderful to see simple yet doable and effective hacks by each winner was just mind-boggling and out of the box. Thanks to EnAble India for coming up with a one-of-a-kind project and acknowledging the efforts with an award is the cherry on the cake.
